Members of the Southeast Veterinary Education Consortium collaborate to develop, evaluate, implement, and share best practices in veterinary medical education and promote excellence in education towards promotion and tenure at their different institutions. SEVEC members are currently focused on four initiatives: collaborative and shared educational development opportunities, development of veterinary education research, creation of peer evaluation of teaching tools, and promoting diversity, equity, & inclusion in veterinary education. Our annual meetups are typically called “Boot Camps” and provide opportunities to connect with peers from fellow institutions in a collaborative learning space.
